When you have an aircraft that is uncontrollable and you’re below 6000 feet above ground level, your top priority is to exit the airplane right away. You don’t have enough altitude or time to try to wrestle it back to stable flight, and delaying escalation increases the risk of a fatal crash. Using the intercom to command immediate ejection ensures the crew and the ejection system are alerted and can initiate the bailout as quickly as possible, maximizing your chances of survival.

Continuing to the destination makes no sense because you can’t guarantee a safe arrival while the airplane is out of control. Trying to regain control could take precious seconds and may not be feasible at low altitude. Circling and bailing out would waste valuable altitude and time, further reducing safety margins. The direct, decisive step is to issue the bailout command so the ejection sequence can proceed without delay.
